Summer is a GREAT time to close that reading gap!

Do I tutor in the summer? You bet I do, it’s a PRIME time to close that reading gap and give your child an advantage for the upcoming school year. Kids have much less demands academically over the summer and are able to give more of their brain to the challenging work of re-organizing how they approach language/reading and spelling. I can work with your child 2, 3 or 4 times per week, which is fluid and able to adjust based on vacations/summer camps and other summer activities. Having that flexibility with a calendar accessible ONLY to all my families lets you customize your schedule on a week-to-week basis.

I know our culture has convinced us that summer is a child’s “free” time, and to a point I would agree with this. However, if you are fatigued with the struggles of reading/spelling for your child, it may be time to make this investment for their future. I do everything I can to make our sessions engaging and fun all the while they are learning these concepts in ways their brain has never been able to before. This curriculum is amazing! Kids are often quoted as saying, “it’s already time to be done?!?!” (I literally heard this just yesterday).

Our consultation meeting involves as many parents as is possible, with the student and we sit down to talk and understand how I do what I do. Questions are asked/answered and the student gets a feel for how this would look for him/her.
